Britishism – skint

I thought I might have a few short blogs of good British words I’m picking up when I hear them.  I’ll try to attribute them to whoever teaches me the words.  Sorry to any Brit friends/family these will bore you…

skint - to be broke.  “He isn’t coming out to the pub tonight because he’s skint.”
Very common, so I don’t now who I heard it from first.

I love comments, but I've been getty crazy spam in there (contact me if you need anything enlarged), so I've disabled links in comments (sucks - email me if you want to post a link and I can) and removed the option to leave a website. Also please do put in an email address because wordpress uses it as a key. That way if you have posted a comment before it will let you post again without it being moderated. Would love to hear from y'all!
